About the event
What: A 24 mile, 4600 foot elevation change down and 6200 foot elevation change up, one way hike across the grand canyon.
When: Friday, May 17th - Depart Back to Health of Anthem by VAN at 12:00pm - Pickup lunch in Flagstaff at 2:00pm - Arrive South Rim by 5:30pm - Eat Dinner 6:30pm - Spend the night at South Rim
Saturday, May 18th (Hike Day!) - Depart by FOOT at 5AM - Start Hike from Bright Angel Trailhead at 05:15 - Hike the Canyon and Arrive at the North Kaibab trailhead by 5:00pm - Eat Dinner on the North Rim (no group dinner, just eat when you get there) - Spend the night at North Rim Lodge
Sunday, May 21st - Depart North Rim at 08:00am - Arrive Anthem by 2:30pm
