Alcohol in Moderation


Achieving wellness in one's life rides a fine line when dealing with alcohol. Red wine, for example, offers a bit of protection in terms of heart health due to the antioxidants found in the wine. There have been studies that lead to this finding. The key is moderation for all types of alcohol if you are drinking. There is no need to start drinking but if you are, just know that it can quickly add up. Calories, addiction, and other elements that will go against your own personal wellness journey.

Drink in moderation, drink safely (like eating before and after or staying hydrated with water), and know there are some benefits to the occasional glass or two.
