Check Twice!

You're at the store and you decide to pick up some things. You get a few things and happen to look at the ingredients. You see "sodium citrate" and "sodium alginate". You're trying to reduce your salt intake but these sound fine, right? It's just mumbo jumbo. Wrong.

Sodium, added sugars, and more sometimes go by different names. Due to that, it makes it harder to tell how much of something is in the item. Our tip for you is to beware of sneaky ingredients when shopping.

When you shop, check and double-check. Take the time to do some research on hidden ingredients. Eventually, you'll get to the point where you can quickly identify health risks in the things you buy. That gives you more power and assurance in what you eat and will only bring you up.
