Breakfast is called the "most important meal of the day" for a reason. It's not just from being the first meal you eat but it's what jumpstarts you to take on your day and any meals you have later on. For example, breakfast helps jumpstart your metabolism. A faster and better metabolism helps burn off calories and turn what you eat into the energy you need. On the flip side, if you skip breakfast, you're more at risk for slower decision-making, poor heart health, and poor digestion.
What's for breakfast? Keep it simple and healthy. Bacon won't be helping you out but granola and yogurt will be giving you these benefits.
