Getting Enough Sleep

If your sleep schedule is the last thing you give your attention to, you're actively working against your wellness. The CDC recommends, for an adult, to have at least 7 hours of sleep a night. This means sleeping in a single session and not taking naps to help "hit the number." If you don't you'll begin to suffer multiple physical and mental ailments.

When you get a consistent lack of sleep, your body begins to weaken. Symptoms like lack of energy, poor decision making, mood swings, weakened immune system, and numerous other consequences happen.

Life happens. Work needs attention, family needs support, and you just need time to yourself. However, remember to get enough sleep when possible. It will only add to your day and help you on your journey in wellness and in life.
